Sadly, this match has fallen through. . . really though, it just wasn't meant to be. Last Friday we got a call from our agency telling us that the match was not going to happen. The birthmother, G, decided to parent her baby. While we are glad for this, we pray that she has the resources to take care of her baby. She did not have a home or a job and already had 3 children. We are very excited to match again- hopefully in the not too distant future we will get that exciting call.
Here's to hoping for a successful match in 2010. We know there is a baby out there for us and we anxiously await the time we can bring him or her home and complete our family. I will post again once we match!

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. But, you are right, your baby will find you at the perfect time. Just waiting is so hard. I would love to hear more about how things are going or if you have any advice for us as we start this process. You can always email me. I assume you still have my email address?
